As we move into February 2012, Mark McDonald MSP progresses towards the construction of a draft Bill suitable for presentation to our Holyrood Parliament for legislation.
The Scothedge team have been invited to meet with Mark in February, for discussions in order to start the important process of matching aspirations to legislative realities, building upon much of the work already conducted with Fergus Ewing.
We have been impressed by Mark's detailed preparatory work and look forward to finally getting down to the construction of a fit for purpose Bill, as we have fought for for over very many years - the "better Scottish High Hedges and Other Nuisance Vegetation Bill" .
This work is will hopefully to result in a Bill before Parliament later this year to ensure responsibility appropriately falls upon those who attempt to ignore the plight of those being disadvantaged by their problem vegetation.
